Marble Manifestation

Junior year of undergrad, the weight of young adulthood intensified. Guided by a professor, I confronted Seasonal Affective Disorder through a vibrant marbled acrylic gradient on silk. Collaborating with photographer Wesley Spear III, we visualized the narrative through pose, casting off darkness and embracing bright color. A year later, the fabric became intimate garments, a tangible reminder to carry hopefulness and positivity with us.
