Nailed It

Two nails impale the artist in a surprisingly humorous self-portrait depicting a minor incident in which she stepped on a nail*. Moments after the nail was embed in her foot - panic set in. Questions of last tetanus shot dates, how to get to the hospital, bills, and deadlines about to be missed zoomed through a scrambled nervous system. Within 30-40 seconds of deep controlled breathing, the world settled. Her friends took her to the hospital, unsurprised at the incident due to Rebecka's ambitious lifestyle.

Once cleared that all would be okay, the nail just became the joke of the day. Cementing a core memory for all involved in the solution to a problem.
