Take Out

A significant theme in my work is resourcefulness. I believe beauty is everywhere with the right perspective.For as long as I’ve lived in NYC, I’ve felt discomforted over the amount of garbage we produce at a daily rate. Reusing materials helps me embrace the guilt I feel for my own wasteful habits. Pieces are made from my neighborhood’s trash. Amazon packages, take out orders, and plastic bottles. Taking an intimate look at trash production through the assemblage of garbage helps me understand the natural instinct we have to create waste.
