
From 2023 to 2024, RCAD partnered with The Art Therapy Project, a nonprofit organization providing group art therapy to trauma survivors in New York City. Serving as Marketing Manager, RCAD led the development of a comprehensive marketing system to elevate the organization’s voice as a thought leader in the field of art therapy. This included researching and sharing stories on the history and practice of art therapy with an audience of over 60k, designing seasonal campaigns, redesigning and maintaining the website, sharing art therapy directives, creating printed fundraising collateral, as well as directing brand partnerships and social content across platforms.
RCAD’s work supported The Art Therapy Project through multiple successful and historic fundraising initiatives. Highlights included spearheading the 2023 Giving Tuesday campaign, which raised $10k in 24 hours, and directing marketing efforts for the 2024 Annual Gala, raising $112k to fund 11 art therapy groups for one year. RCAD also designed the organization’s Affordable Art Fair NYC 2024 booth, developing a 15 ft. interactive installation, Collective Bloom, which invited community participation while introducing new audiences to the impact of art therapy.
The collaboration reflects RCAD’s commitment to client collaboration and design that amplifies stories, builds community, and strengthens missions through digital and physical experiences.
